Constitutional Law

Incorporates themes relating to SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 4 - Quality Education and SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-Being. As Part II (Public Rights and Freedoms) in the 2005 Constitution of Iraq focuses on the following articles (14, 17, and 22) provided for these rights, which include within these articles a real solution and reflective practice for the problems we are exposed to in our community.

Punishment Code

Incorporates themes relating to SDG 5 - Gender Equality and SDG 10 -Reduced Inequalities. Focuses on the objectives that seek to achieve according to the philosophy of the Iraqi project and contemporary criminal philosophy.

Civil Law (General Principle for commitment)

Incorporates themes relating to SDG 10 - Reduced Inequalities-focuses on subjects of establishing civil responsibility according to the principle of social solidarity. One of the requirements of citizens’ equality in carrying the public burdens is solidarity among them and compensating the affected people from the damages. This requires the establishment of responsibility for the mentioned damage on the principle of Social solidarity.

Human Rights

Incorporates themes relating to SDG (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 &10) focuses on social and economic rights of Iraqi citizen.

Crime and Punishment

Incorporate themes relating to SDG (1, 4, 8 and 16) – focuses on the subject of the reasons leading to criminal behavior in order to reduce or eliminate the phenomenon of crime in the society. All of these cases reduce the external factors influencing the individual behaviour which can be a clear cause of criminal behaviour.

Introduction to Law Study

Incorporates themes relating SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities, focuses on Sources of Law as one of law sources that stated in the Iraqi Project is quality Principles since the judge can refer to these Principles to achieve quality.

Administrative Law

Incorporates themes relating to SDG 1-No Poverty, SDG 2- Zero Hunger, SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being, SDG 5 - Gender Quality, SDG 11- Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 16- Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.

Democracy

Incorporates themes relating to social sustainability and have a strong focus on SDG 8, 10 & 16 by focusing on providing a suitable environment for both gender and promoting equality between male and female. Ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic and public life. Teaching this to students is an essential matter so that they can understand lots of opportunities and the way to deal and apply them.

Incorporates themes relating to social sustainability and have a strong focus on SDG 1(No Poverty), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), and SDG 3 (Good health and Well-being) through the right of human by providing health guarantees for themselves and their family. The right to education, enjoying the benefits of cultural freedom, scientific progress, and gender equality through equality between men and women, freedom of thought and religion, freedom of participation in public affairs, elections etc.
